You can solve each type. Why do mixed problems feel harder?

You recognize the word. Can you recall it without looking?
Read one item, then hide the answer and try recalling it before you read it again. Then check what you produced against your learning material and correct anything that differs. You can start by adding that small change to one item you already planned to review.

You got it right. Should you still review it?
Keep one correct answer you were unsure about in your review pile. Before checking the answer key, mark the question if you hesitated. After checking, use that mark to find a correct response that still deserves a closer look.

When should you review it again?
Choose one thing you have already studied, and put a return visit on a different day. Start by asking when you expect to need it. A review plan for next week's discussion has a different time horizon from a plan for keeping the knowledge available for months.
